Recording System Greetings

Recording System Greetings

You can change your system recordings, such as holiday greetings and unavailable messages, by using a star code and PIN number. They are specific to your business. Please email support@uplync.com to obtain these access codes.

Recording Greetings

From one of your office phones, dial the star code (*XXXXX). When prompted, enter your pin/password - XXXX - and press #. The existing recorded greeting will play first, and then you can follow the prompts to record over it. You'll do this for each greeting unless you would like to keep the generic message that’s pre-recorded by the system.

Recording a Holiday Greeting

You can record your holiday greeting any time before the holiday. Please email support@uplync.com the days you want the holiday greeting to play. Then, it will be sure to play during the requested holiday hours and automatically swap back to the standard greeting after the holiday has concluded.
