Uploading Fax Documents


You can upload and organize documents before sending a fax message or during the “sending a fax” process.

Before Sending a Fax Message
  1. Click on New and then Document in the left-hand navigation.

  2. Drag and drop the file from your computer into the Upload field or click the Upload field and navigate to your file.

  3. Enter your document name and specify its file type.
  4. Select the folder in which to save the document and its visibility.
    Private - Only you and anyone logging in with your user credentials can see the document
    Public - All portal users can see the document
    Disabled - The document is saved in the portal, but cannot be sent in messages
  5. Add a description of the file and click Save

When you need to access this document, navigate to the documents section in the portal.

While Sending a Fax Message

You add documents during the second step of the “sending a new fax” process. You can attach them from your computer, a networked server, or cloud storage.

NOTE: This is also where you will add the fax-specific cover page. You need to create your cover page before this step. If you have a default cover page saved, it will automatically appear in the list.
